For over 50 years GIAC has responded to community needs and we were bursting-at-the seams. In 2019, you responded to our call to Be The Vision – expanding our physical footprint to better meet community
needs and at the same time helping to revitalize our neighborhood. With your donations, grants, and City of Ithaca funding, we were able to renovate and repurpose the former Immaculate Conception School gymnasium into a two-story teen and recreation center. The vision continues as we seek to refurbish the iconic Red and White Café as a neighborhood café, teen culinary arts training space, and small neighborhood arts space. We are excited about this next project and seek your help raising $1,500,000 to renovate the space, return it to its glory days, and more. Can we say Friday Fish Fry!
Please donate to our GIACgrows Capital Campaign. $1,500,000 is intimidating but any donation helps us reach our goal. We look forward to preserving this bit of history with your help. Thank you.
